This is yet another new beginning for me. While I was on vacation, visiting my family, my sweet husband decided that I needed more than a blogger address, and voila! Now, I’m learning WordPress and pondering ways to use my new web address. His suggestions include my blog, plus selling some of my handiworks (crib stuff, handmade cards, etc.) We shall see what kind of things we do with this newfound freedom. No matter what I decide, it shall remain revolving around my full time job – being a Momma!
Lately, my job has been very demanding. My boss keeps raising his voice at me, making messes and expecting me to clean them up, having mood swings, calling me in the middle of the night, demanding that I fix things without him telling me what the problem is… No, my boss isn’t my husband, I’m referring to the little man himself. He’s been sick, again, you see. He’s been very difficult to please, and though I’m doing the best I can, it’s been a challenge for sure. I’m exhausted, and he’s finally showing steady signs of recovery. Hopefully we’re nearing the end of this most recent bug.
In other news, I had a wonderful trip to the East Coast to visit my family and I feel like my mother and I are closer than we’ve ever been. I had great visits with cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and old friends. Truly, the trip was a blessing. Returning home to our little camper (compared to a house…), I was surprised to find that it felt bigger than before. The baby was thrilled to see his pups and his Poppa and they were equally thrilled to see him as well. I’m pretty happy to be home as well.
I have so much I want to write about… my latest projects, the new blog, the old blog, the amazing new skills that the little dude has recently acquired, remembering of the olden days… HOWEVER… Since the little dude isn’t yet fully recovered and I am slowly feeling more and more run down as I tend to him, I’m making an effort to take care of me. You know, the “first put the oxygen mask on yourself before you assist anyone else” routine. As a result… I have decided that I have to go to bed. I’m praying that tomorrow will go beautifully and maybe I’ll even have a little time to spend on here. Goodnight all!
